National Football Museum (Manchester)
A few words about the project
The National Football museum is pleased to have opened their doors recently after a complete refurbishment. The building was prepared and opened ahead of the Olympics this year, couple with the need for modernisation.
The fit out programme for the cafeteria and servery area was an intensive programme, as the closed period for the museum would affect the normal day to day business needed. Northamptonshire based design and construction team took on the challenge and delivered in the time set out.
This refurbishment at the National Football Museum in Manchester has been carefully designed to bring stylish design to the museum by lifting the communal area into a vibrant and interesting place to meet and socialise. We supplied beautiful Chic Strips into the project; the 300x100mm, super glossy black commercial wall tiles. Using high gloss black wall tiles behind the servery area really lifts the area and gives great reflectivity of light to brighten a traditionally tricky type of area to get good light into, without the reflectivity being too overpowering.
